This June, we will start your day with Wake-Up and Go Stretch to get you moving in for the day.

Some days you might wake up aching and feeling full of tension. Did you know that regular stretching can help to increase flexibility and reduce back pain? To get started, why not try the simple morning stretch routine.

Many people believe that stretching has to be done before or after a workout but there are actually many benefits to stretching first thing in the morning. Stretching first thing in the morning can relieve any tension or pain from sleeping the night before. It also helps increase your blood flow and prepares your body for the day ahead.

This month we will focus on practicing the basics of morning stretching. Stretches are done standing and seated (no floor work) and class times range fron 10 - 40 minutes​​
