The never-ending-to-do-list

When I have to start a new to-do list to tackle the original to-do list, I know I am in TROUBLE!!

What do you do when you are facing the never-ending to-do list? There are certain things that I do to keep me on task and focused:

1) LOTS OF COFFEE and SNACKS!! I know it is not the most nutritious thing for me BUT it is what I do and I probably always will!! I do also LOVE water and fruit as my snacks so not all bad!

2)Schedule breaks every hour for a quick 5-minute break I have a dog and she needs to go out and likes lots of attention so this is pretty easy. However – studies show that sitting is the new smoking and getting up and moving for 5 minutes every hour you are sitting will have HUGE health benefits: (decrease bad cholesterol, increase good cholesterol, improver blood pressure, improve blood sugars)

3) Take time for a mental reboot. We all know the power music can have on our moods and it is the same thing when it comes to our productivity. The effects of music on productivity have been studied and has shown some great results: *People are happier and produced better work more efficiently when listening to music. *People were less stressed and worked faster and more accurately, especially if they were allowed to pick the music. *Music can help people perform better in high-pressure situations. *Music is a source of creativity, especially when it’s upbeat

One of my favorite things to do throughout the day is are Productive Exercises. They combine the 5 minutes break with music and very specific exercises that have physical and cognitive benefits. It takes between 4-8 minutes and it leaves you refreshed and ready to tackle the rest of your to-do list.

The key is to Productive Exercise is do just enough to feel mentally and emotionally refreshed. Unlike traditional Exercise, Productive Cognitive Exercise has a same-day effect. You get the endorphin euphoric rush and you are able to capitalize on it.

What is your favorite productivity tip to get things done?
